Back Home~

Hello everyone! How are you all? How has your summer been?! Just thought to update and let you all know my hubby and I made it back home safely~ ;v; We ended up spending a little more time with my family, so we came back just this morning, rather than earlier in the week, as planned. We both had a lot of fun and we got to see some very dear friends on top of it!

During the few weeks, we celebrated Pierce's b-day (Aug. 11, ironically the day Robin Williams died ;; ), got to visit his dad, step-mom and step-sis and go hiking, got to see the musical fountain with my family and spent the day at the beach, went to a place called Craig's Cruisers on another day for five hours, went to the drive-in theater with my siblings, got to have lunch with his grandma and aunt, and got to visit relatives and friends such as my grandparents, my cousin and his family, and friends who don't have a DA, and... yeah! It was great to be home home after spending two years at school. >v< Though, I do admit, I still miss my family. It feels like it's just never enough time...

(But I'll soon get to see my sister, ;v; She's coming to school here with me~)

The only downside is that my family caught a bug from my dad's friend's granddaughter that my parents visited (and my mom said she didn't want to go because she had a bad feeling, but... yeah)... so nearly everyone got sick :'D

Unfortunately, my hubby and I both got sick this last weekend and we had to hope we got better when we had to leave. And that wasn't so. |D Pierce is feeling a lot better now, but I've still got bad chest congestion (amplified by my asthma, huzzah) and I apparently have an ear infection. So carrying luggage around with that wasn't fun. But I'll be looking into getting a doctor's appointment for my ears.

I also need to look into getting an eye appointment. My eyes apparently got worse. It's pretty bad when you have to squint really hard while wearing your glasses just to pass an eye exam for your license renewal (and still not completely pass). OTL

Anyways, I didn't get to sketch as much as I hoped, but I have been working on a few things. I'll scan whatever I've drawn recently as soon as I can, and I'll be planning on uploading some other things as well. There's a lot to be done since school's coming up in less than two weeks! But one thing's for sure, you guys will have some fun things to look forward to! ;D
