Just a little something I finished last night. QvQ I've had this idea in my head for a while: Delphox carrying his trainer. So I finally got around to drawing it. I plan to put this up for show for artist alley next year, if I'm able to get a table for a con.
Other than that, this came out a LOT better than I thought it would. I used the brush tool on Sai and tried a fully painted effect on most of the picture, but wasn't sure how it'd come out since I've never used such techniques in my digital art. But I'm glad it came out the way it did. ;v;
I just wish I could have been able to come up with a little bit of foreground? But I wasn't sure what to do without throwing off the composition…
I also should have made Serena's right arm darker. I didn't even notice it until just now. Hnng. Well… maybe it's just me being picky or something… =A=; But now it bother's me. What do you guys think?
Anyways, I hope everyone likes it!

Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is gorgeous! The strokes are delightful, and everything is quite lifelike. Some strands of grass might have been a proper foreground, if anything. I haven't seen a Pokemon carrying its trainer home after a long journey, so this is really close. It's serene, really. Despite it being the first time you've used this technique, it's turned out very well! The lighting and shading was done fantastically, and especially so with sylveon. Delphox as well.
It mostly leaves me with some nostalgia, mostly for the Sinnoh League, where you're riding home... but of course, this is the Kalos League, so you have your fire starter. I do question why you still have an azurill (unless it is to symbolize something, or was only recently added to the team?)
Anyway, great job! The Pokemon, Trainer, and background are gorgeous and lifelike! Very, very well done!
